Growth and movement are good things. You bet! They’re even totally NATURAL. In fact, they’re absolutely essential elements of life.
So, it’s only natural to seek personal growth as we move forward. We’re as much a part of nature as anything else.
Well, that’s true for those with a growth mindset. I’d say that covers roughly half the people I know – including people like you, who are seeking paths to improvement.
I’ve noticed a funny thing about people like us with this “growth mindset.” Once we walk one path of improvement, go through a learning process, or reach a goal… Well, we start off with another one!
We know that GETTING something at the end of the journey isn’t the only value.
We know that the journey itself is at least half the attraction. We are naturally curious. We like to improve ourselves. We are not afraid of change, not so worried that it freezes us in place.
The other half? Well, they’re of a “fixed” mindset. Absent curiosity. Unwilling to change. Maybe even afraid to try something new.
For them, success means trying to stay still and hoping nothing wrong happens.
But guess what? LIFE HAPPENS!
You and I know it, or we wouldn’t be communicating with each other. We don’t just accept that fact about life. We embrace it.
When you crave self-improvement, you’re more engaged with the world, other people, and yourself. You’re more inquisitive, more accepting, and less likely to be pushed around – because you’re confident enough to go with the flow when necessary. You seek challenges and opportunities to grow.
It’s your nature, after all!
So it’s understandable that you are feeling frustrated with your progress or lack thereof in your workouts.
👉🏽 Little(or big) pains in your body.
👉🏽 Not performing like you want to.
👉🏽 Getting frustrated that you think you are on the cutting edge of training, but the results differ from what you expected.
And that fact that your body and the little voice inside you keep yelling “STUCK” and you are still shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic is only compounding the situation. (Only a slight exaggeration). 😉
It’s not your desire and dedication that is in question; it’s your view and knowledge on how to work with your body that is off.
It’s not totally your fault. It’s how we have been taught.

Everything is in little boxes. We have broken everything down and forgotten that everything should all work together. Holistic.
And if you keep bouncing around trying to piece together a holistic program when the pieces don’t fit, you will end up in a different place.😵💫
