Start this program out by being honest with yourself about what you want, what you are willing to commit, what your body needs to get you to your goals. This preparation will reduce frustration and decrease the time it will take you to get your ideal body and health.
We are all motivated by something. Whether we are trying to achieve something, acquire something, or fulfill some need or desire, we are inspired by something. The funny thing is that most of what motivates us is subconscious, and if we don’t choose what we want, our subconscious and all its potential “head trash” will pick it for us.
- Until you sit down and think about what you want and why it’s important to you, if you don’t you won’t know how to get there.
- Until you commit to yourself and your health and fitness program, you will be wasting your time, money, and hope.
Start on the right track by using the goal sheet and take a minute or two to work on this as it will help move you through the tasks you need to do when they are not that enjoyable.
Bonus: Help yourself be clear by meditating for 5 min. It’s simple just to sit and focus on your breath or take a walk in nature without headphones or a friend and give yourself some distance between you and your thoughts. Meditation doesn’t mean you stop thinking or float around on a different plane than everybody else. It just means that you will have a better chance of not getting dragged around my every thought and emotion that pops into your head. Doing this daily is a great way to be to have some distance from your constant thoughts and feelings and will help you stay clear about what you want to do.
