To have your muscles work correctly is more than just strengthening and stretching. They must also be “turned on.” You will get some of this through strengthening and stretching, but then you also need to solicit these little tiny computers in your muscles and tendons and turn them on.
And just like the stretches and exercises, there are specific postures that you need to target each one specifically. Just standing on one leg isn’t going to target the thousands of these little computers you have in your body.
