Stretching is essential for good posture, free movement, and optimal performance. GPS is designed for this. It is a series of postural stretches that work with the body’s global fascial myofascial chains.
When working with your body, be as efficient as possible using a Holistic Exercise and Fitness Program, and go from deep to superficial. This means using techniques like ELDOA, Myofascial Stretching, Segmental Strengthening, and Proprioceptive exercises. But you can’t stop there. The body must work with all the connecting areas that link everything together. This means working with your body and using Global movements. Global meaning using your body as one. With Global Postural Stretching and Global Primal Moments, you can stretch and strengthen your body this way. GPS is postural stretching that gives your body the space and balance it needs.

How Does GPS Work?
Using the images above and looking at the hips, all these muscles (and more not pictured) encompass the hip. Each can be stretched segmentally with myofascial stretching, especially if any are tight or causing problems. Postural stretching works with the entire hip in the different ways it can move and the connections to the other areas of your body, such as the knees, back, and shoulders.
This will integrate it back into the whole body and how it moves.
As mentioned above, these are global stretches that work holistically. This means it uses the fascia that connects our entire self. And since GPS is in the holistic exercises and fitness program, it is a great technique to train your fascia.
We have a great article that will help you understand why training holistically is the ultimate way to work with your body.
Don’t stop partway through your program. If your goal is to have a fully functioning, vibrant body, then GPS must be in your program.
