it’s not just working out. It's building a foundation for a better life.
We’re all taught as children to keep our word to others, right? To mean what we say – and to follow up when we tell someone we’re going to do something for them.
This also applies to keeping the promises we make to ourselves. And they’re just as crucial to living a successful life and feeling content.
Breaking promises to ourselves is one of the main reasons people fail to reach goals and feel bad about themselves.
• You swear you won’t eat and drink that much again – but Friday Happy Hour rolls around and you do.
• You tell yourself that you’ll find a routine that is better for your body– but then you go back to what you know.
• You promise yourself that you’re going to put a certain amount of money into a savings account out of each paycheck – but you keep forgetting.
The result is the same in each case: You feel terrible about yourself AND you don’t make progress toward your goal.
Here are some tips to break the cycle.

Personal integrity is a powerful concept in helping you live the life you want and deserve. But it’s also something we practice by words, thoughts, and actions every day. Just do it.
I believe in you!

Scenario One:
“Hi, how’s it going?” an acquaintance asks you on a Monday morning.
“Ugh!” you reply. “I’ve got a bad case of the Mondays.”
Sound familiar? I’m sure – especially if the traffic was terrible or the kids were giving you a hard time.
Now try Scenario Two:
“Hi, how’s it going” an acquaintance asks you on a Monday morning.
“Things are good,” you reply. “I made it to work on time and I’m ready to dive in!”
In both cases, you’ve had the same morning so far. Everything’s the same, that is, except your perception.
How you answer such a simple question – and how you live your life — is really up to you. It’s just as easy to perceive things in a “positive” manner as it is in a “negative” manner.
This is not just pollyanna.
We all assign value to every circumstance in our life. It’s part of human nature to bring order to the chaos of the world. It’s the heart of all storytelling, including all the ones in which you’re the central character. Once you realize that this challenge is not only “OK” but “essential,” you can stop letting fear of it warp your perception.
In developing healthy habits, you’ll have days when everything goes your way – and days when it feels hard to eat right and exercise… Days when the stress of life builds. When people hurt your feelings.
It’s all part of what drives you forward in your own story. It’s fuel for your fire!
So, realize that your perceptions are a choice. You can choose to tell yourself everything is as it should be and then do the next right thing. Or you can choose to lie down and be a victim, complaining along the way.
Either way, you’re telling a story.
So, choose to write the story that serves you best.
It’s not just working out, it’s building a foundation for a better life.

Did that catch your attention? It’s not that I don’t care about you; I don’t trust what you feel, from the emotional to the physical. You are here because this holistic model resonated with you. It’s different, and deep inside, you know that good.
That also means you have no reference as to what to expect. Don’t even try. The best thing is to experience it and learn by doing. So if you ask me what other modality it’s like, I’ll say “none” because I don’t want you to reference any preconceived notions.
When you run into roadblocks and feel “for sure” that there is no way you could accomplish it because you must be different. I’ll smile politely and tell you to keep going because I know you have forgotten how to move in specific ways. And the only way to reduce it is to do the activities.
” The way is through.”
When I give you instructions on working holistically with a specific part of the body, you tell me you can’t feel it. I don’t care. Again it’s because I know we are not only training your body holistically but integrating it holistically through mind and body. You don’t feel it because the ” map” in your brain has become unreadable, and we need to redraw it so that you can eventually feel it. It’s called neuro engrams, and it’s a huge part )or should be) of an exercise program.
Feelings are impermanent and are thought forms. They’re not real. An instinctual “feeling” is your higher self coming through. And it comes through without tension or fear. I expect you to have tons of thoughts, forms, and feelings when doing something new unless you have put in the work and have achieved liberation from being attached to your thought forms and fears.
And that is cool. Because I know that through a well-rounded, holistic health dn fitness program, you will not only develop a more mind-body connection, which leads to strength, flexibility, and a better posture and life but to an understanding that you are not your through forms and feeling and are…..so….much….more
This is what we do in our 90-day online program. If that resonates with you and you want to learn more, type interested in the comments, and we’ll contact you.

You have to go through pain if you want to correct it.
You have two basic tracts when looking to get out of pain.
1. Commit to working through it to correct it
2. Focus on not feeling pain
The second is a story that you have heard or experienced before. Something starts as an occasional nag, then turns chronic. It wasn’t that bad at the beginning because you took Asprin or Tylinol (or something of that sort) and iced it, but that is not working anymore, so you are now on to stronger meds and cortisone shots. Pretty soon, that won’t work anymore, and because you are following the allopathic route, surgery is in your near future.
The first is a more arduous road but a more sustainable one. You decide you want to correct the issue. Whether you decided initially or when it started to become chronic, you realized a correction must be made. And you know that correcting something is not comfortable, but the payoff is being able to go back to the life you want to live.
I had this same conversation with a lady you came in with knee pain. She was somebody who I had known for about 6 years, and she started in my classes. Not because she had pain but because she wanted a holistic program. She was a hiker but knew she needed more.
While in class, I noticed she had some tells that were not best for her knee, and I encouraged her to work on them. Unfortunately, she didn’t get the advice I gave her, and about 2 years later started having knee pain.
She initially took 2nd route and got PRP injections. They worked to get rid of her knee pain. So she went about her life. But two years later, it came back, and she sought me out for therapy. I explained to her that PRP and stem cells are good, but not by themselves, because they don’t correct 💩.
We got her on a corrective therapy and exercise program. Although she kept also wanting to go to a pain clinic (because when choosing route 1, it doesn’t go away right away), she persisted and is now, after about a month, almost pain-free, but more importantly, is correcting the issue and knows how to continue it to get it stronger.
Pain comes because something is “off” in the body, which means something(s) are weak, tight, “turned off,” etc. And after a while of this progressively deficient state, things start to pinc, rub and not move as intended. That is when the pain begins to show up.
If your body is out of balance, but you think you are not dysfunctional because you have no pain, you are incorrect. It’s like hydration. By the time you are thirsty, you have already needed water.
I am all about route 1 because I know the body can heal itself and thrive past your wildest imagination if put in the proper place.
That is why I have a 90-day online program where I help 40+-year-old active people who are frustrated that they feel stiff, in pain, can’t be as active or engage with their friends, family, and community as they want to get out of pain, and stiffness, and back to the life they want to live.
It is a holistic program you can use for the rest of your life. If you want to learn more, put a “👍🏽” in the comments.
